- Step 1: Create your gifts registry for your upcoming occasion, from birthdays to baby showers, marriages to anniversaries by clicking on the start registry button on the site, you will be redirected to a form, complete the form by entering your accurate details, ensure you customize your registry by uploading your pictures. Voila you have created your registry.
- Step 2: Add gifts to your registry: Browse through our numerous catalogue for your preferred gifts ranging from home appliances, kitchen essentials, phones and tablets, baby products to honeymoon experiences we’ve got you covered.
- Step 3: Share your customized registry with your friends: share your gift registry with friends and invitees via email, social media or adding your gift registry page link to your invitation cards. Your guests then come to your gift registry page and buy these gift items for you using our online payment options. Relax while your friends get shopping.
- Step 4: We then deliver each item your loved ones purchased for you on your selected delivery date (in accordance with our delivery policy), it’s that easy and it’s absolutely free.

A registry helps to eliminate the risk of purchasing a gift that the celebrant already has, doesn’t need or like.
6. Is my personal information secure? Or is my credit card safe?
Yes your personal information is safe. We do not pass your information on to any third parties without your permission and all our staff sign non-disclosure contracts. Our website uses SSL Technology to ensure all transmitted data, credit card, logins are secure.

8. How do I know if a gift has been purchased?
giftempire.ng makes it easy to keep track of everything that has been fulfilled from your gifts registry. Just click on your dashboard to track your purchases.
We will send you an email confirmation after each purchase or contribution on your registry, and the gift will be flagged as "Purchased" on your registry so that you never receive the same gift twice unless of course where you requested for more than one of the gift.
9. How do I keep track of who gave me what?
Visit your dashboard to keep track of who has gifted you! It lists every gift you receive as they come in, along with the guest's contact information.
10. What about thank you notes?
We send an automated thank you note for you as soon as your guest pays or contributes for an item. You are also given an opportunity to enter your customized thank you note while creating your registry.
11. What is Group Gifting?
We understand that some gifts are more appropriate to purchase as a group and we therefore offer a service that allows your guests contribute to purchase higher priced gifts (Group Gifting). You can set the minimum contribution amount when adding a product to your Registry. If your guests choose to contribute for a gift for you but are unable to arrive at the full purchase price for the gift, you the user has these options:
(a.) Add the amount remaining to acquire the item.
(b.) Move the money contributed to your Wallet and purchase another product with the same price equivalent to the amount contributed with your Wallet Fund
(c.) Request to convert the contributed sum to cash but this will attract a 25% surcharge.
12. What happens if a gift is out of stock or discontinued?
We will always do our best to let you know if an item is out of stock and alert you to any changes or you can convert the money contributed to Wallet Fund and purchase something else from us!
13. What is Wallet/Wallet Fund?
Think of Wallet Fund as “cash” that can be put towards purchases of any physical products or experiences that we sell on our website. Wallet Fund and can only be used to purchase items sold on giftempire.ng. Wallet Fund can be redeemed for cash but this will attract a 25% surcharge.
14. How does Wallet Fund Work?
Where your friend (s) contributes or purchases an item on your registry and before delivery, you reconsider or change your mind on that item, you can decide to use the money contributed to shop for other items on our website. You can do this by moving the money contributed to your Wallet, your Wallet Fund can be used to purchase products/gifts on the website. Wallet Fund can only be used for any physical product or experience that Gift Empire sells. Wallet Fund can be redeemed for cash but this will attract a 25% surcharge.
